Lazy Susan

LAZY SUSAN is a daughter of the Holsteiner LORDANOS, who died in 2021 and attracted worldwide attention with his successful offspring. Her dam line goes back to the Hanoverian mare PAOLA bred by Günter Pape in Hemmoor, full sister of the stallions Pik Bube I and Pik Bube II and dam of the stallions Bergamon (by Baryshnikow) and Donnerklang A. Dam ROXETTE by RAPHAEL - LAROME is a full sister to the NRW State Stud Stallion Rüter, Reserve Champion of the NRW Main Licensing 2003, who himself is successful in dressage up to medium (M) level and has several S-successful offspring in show jumping. Other licensed stallions from the dam line are Rendezvous (by Reggazoni) and Scuderia (by Sir Donnerhall).

Like many of our mares, we bought her as a foal directly from the breeder (Heinrich Beermann, Ladbergen). Although our focus is rather on dressage, we definitely wanted to have an offspring of LORDANOS in our stable. Lazy Susan is placed in novice class show jumping competitions.

Her first foal of 2014, CHACCORA, was awarded the Oldenburg Main Premium (former State Premium) by the OS Verband in 2018. She is characterized by enormous jumping ability and very good rideability as well as an excellent character. 

In 2019 Lazy Susan gave us a very tall and beautiful filly by CHACOON BLUE. This foal was sold into appreciative and encouraging hands shortly after birth. 

For 2021 Susi had a new mission: she was in foal to Life Time (Hengststation Tebbel), the reserve winner of the Westfalenkörung in 2019. That's right - a dressage stallion! Since all of her foals had above average GGA for show jumpers and the line is not uninteresting for dressage breeding, we dared the experiment for 2021. Unfortunately, we had to have the foal euthanized at foal age due to a severe illness. In order for her to continue to prove her great character, we decided to sell her in 2022 as a riding horse into the very best hands and are very happy that she is doing very well in her new home and that her owner is wishfully happy with her.
